What works for you will not work for other people.

Stop giving advice that isn’t helpful. Listen instead and provide limited input.

Stop trying to understand other people and psychoanalyzing their deficiencies. This makes both of you miserable. Instead, find the ways they are remarkable, and prove to them they are remarkable.

You cannot stop someone from emptying their life, but you can help someone fill their life.

Good friends don’t complain about their friends to anyone.

It’s ok to wait to respond to people.

You cannot prevent anyone from suffering. No one.

You have never been able to stop yourself from falling in love with someone, nor have you been able to stop someone from falling in love with someone else. So stop trying.

You have never been able to make yourself fall in love with someone, nor have you been able to make someone else fall in love with you. So stop trying.

Give up the hunt.

Keep your balance. Reaching and kicking will make you fall.
