This is Thanksgiving, the 26th

Although in other countries it is just a myth

“It’s a time to be thankful”, people say

But most simply just shout “K!”

We never really stop to think

The meaning just goes down the kitchen sink

We have so much, it’s really true

From the roof over our heads to the sky so blue

We should be thankful all the time

Especially for the food on which we dine

So let’s begin this evening luncheon

Not eating ‘till we burst is truly a sin
