My greatest talent is noticing connections in unexpected places, and I believe there are connections between all things. I am an interdisciplinary human, someone who has dove deeply into a variety of different academic fields and skills. I’ve explored and enjoyed mathematics, biology, public speaking, psychology, entrepreneurship, business, economics, chemistry, language, painting, acting, singing, creative writing, religious studies, history, politics, physics, general relativity, the list goes on. From my experience in all of these areas, I have noticed patterns among them all. The circumstances that generate successful people are suspiciously similar to the circumstances that generate successful businesses, successful political candidates, successful countries, and even successful ecosystems and organisms. The strategies these entities use are similar to best practices in the sciences and foolproof methods of solving mathematical equations. By successful, I mean when an agent recognizes its potential and grows continuously and deliberately. This is why I’ve chosen to create my own major because I cannot think of a more deserving pursuit to which I can devote my time.
