mom’s 50th birthday poem

Mom you’re fifty;

Not quite as swifty;

But somehow good with a phone.

You can still laugh and run;

ACT like you’re young;

Even if you’re                                                                       alone.

You play many roles;

Mother, Teacher, Wordmaster’s Leader (Knolls);

Just to name a few.

As your skin gets all wrinkly;

And your memory gets crinkly;

Keep doing what you love.

Explore where you wish;

Clean up your dish;

Could you buy a dove?

Some advice from your son;

There is the l         o               n             g run;

You must play with your kids.

Finish your bucket list;

Do everything you missed;

Create more dids.

You don’t have to follow this advice;

After all, I’ve had lice;

Just think long and hard.

What do you want with your life?

Should you buy a bridge, cat or fife?

Maybe try some lard.

Okay; I’m almost done;

 (You could become a nun);

Only kidding, children, don’t fight.

Happy Birthday to you;

Happy Birthday Mom!

You’re 50!

I said it, I’m through;Best wishes, season’s greetings, GOODNIGHT.
